We all have our own perceptions of freedom, and these perceptions change over the years. 33 is the fourth beer in the Dundulis Freedom Series, and we have tried to use the technique of the art of brewing to express the sense of freedom we experience. This beer is very Lithuanian in origin- it is a baked beer (keptinis), but after two years spent in French wine barrel, it has matured its own cosmopolitan characteristics, which, thanks to the wild fermentation, appear less sophisticated and more libertarian. The light fruity acidity, intertwined with the toasty rye bread, resonates in the vanilla oak tannins. Cheers for freedom!
